On offer is a striking Rudge Ulster fitted with a beautiful bronze cylinder head. The bronze cylinder head was fitted on 1937 and 1938 production Ulsters only.
The condition of the Ulster is generally good. It is an older restoration that has been well maintained during its previous long term ownership. Paint and brightwork in good condition with patina and some smaller spots of rust on the exhaust pipes and silencers. The petrol tank has just been repainted and relined in gold to a high standard.
As part of a recent service, the wiring was replaced, a new speedo cable fitted, new tyres fitted, new bottom end and cylinder head gaskets fitted and a new chaincase gasket fitted.
The engine has very good compression and is very smooth; a very powerful engine that will easily outrun bikes many years younger.
This 1938 Rudge Ulster is looking very attractive and purposeful and will turns heads wherever you go.
The Ulster still has its original brown log and is registered for the road with current UK V5 registration + all EU taxes paid (no taxes to pay when registering in the EU).
