1949 Vincent Rapide Series C

A fabulous 'interim' Series C Rapide, produced in 1949 when the Vincent factory had introduced the Series C but still had Series B stock piling up on the shelves. According to the factory records, this particular Rapide is indeed a Series C model delivered with Girdraulic forks from the factory but also a Series B Rear frame, petrol tank and timing cover. Long term ownership for 25 years. Beautiful condition, both cosmetically and mechanically.
