A trials motorcycle for future World Champions.

The Norton 500T was a special trials model produced by Norton from 1949 -1953 and in very limited numbers. Famously, a 500T was ridden to success by a young Geoff Duke, later to be World Champion, legendary Norton rider and OBE.

This particular 500T has been fully restored by a passionate owner with all correct details specific to the 500T: special front fork yokes giving a shorter wheelbase, alloy cylinder and cylinder head, toolbox, gear lever, brake pedal, scalloped front hub and strengthened alloy brake plate, special bakelite steering damper knob, sidestand, Manx brake lever, Manx clutch lever, Manx air and magneto levers, BTH Competition magneto and the list goes on.

The 500T is in superb condition and is not one you see very often, especially not one that is correct down to the last detail like this example.

Matching numbers for frame and engine, with the original matching numbers crankcase sitting next to the bike as it was not safe to rebuild during restoration. Instead a NOS blank crankcase was sourced for the rebuild.

Comes with the original UK brown log book and EU import duty + fees paid.
