The original and iconic café racer of the 1950s.

This rare and beautifully built 1955 Norvin, combines the nimble Norton Featherbed frame with the powerful Vincent V-Twin engine. A magnificent combo created in the 1950s, the golden era of British motorcycling, and renowned for its balance of handling and brute force in the hands of the Ton Up Boys.

Powered by a rebuild, original 1948 Vincent HRD Series B Rapide engine, this Norvin delivers exhilarating performance with the unmistakable sound and torque that made Norvins feared on road and track. Paired with the Featherbed frame, the bike offers superb stability and precise steering, exactly why enthusiasts dreamt up these ‘Café Racers’ in the first place.

During the rebuild, a one-piece crankshaft was fitted and separate petrol and oil tanks in alloy were fabricated and sculpted to accommodate the carburettors.

This 1955 Norvin comes from long term ownership and was paraded in various classic track day events over the years and always maintained to a high standard. The Norvin comes with older registration documents to allow road registration, making it equally suited for spirited road riding in the hands of its next owner.

This is a rare opportunity to own a truly iconic piece of British motorcycling history.
