This is a beautifully crafted Norton Cafe Racer Special.
A 1957 Norton Featherbed frame houses a 1971 Norton Commando 750cc engine and AMC gearbox. Everything including the engine and gearbox has been restored by the engineer owner and has just test miles on it.
Other notable features are the all-alloy Manx petrol and oil tanks, Twin Clocks, Grimeca front brake and the high-level exhaust pipes that really help to set the Norton apart.
Furthermore there is a belt drive fitted and twin downdraught concentric carburetors to make the Norton as user friendly as possible.
This Norton was build by an engineer with great experience, having previously rebuild and restored other classic bikes to join his collection. Build to be used, it is now ready to be enjoyed on the road.
